Two lifelong buds escape the pressures of growing up by visiting a magical shed that turns imagination into reality.

SYNOPSIS

Meet Carl & Ricky. Just about every night, these best buds head into Ricky’s backyard shed and use their wickedly unhinged imaginations to escape the realities of adulthood—jobs, bills, hygiene, tax form 1098b...blah, blah, blah. Because the moment they step inside the Magic Shed, reality itself is transformed into a bizarre fantasy world where all that adult junk is actually interesting.

You know, cuz magic.

You see, back when these two dorks were just kids, they made a blood brother pact to stay golden 4-ever.

But, on the weird hallowed ground of Ricky's shed, the blood from their childhood ritual tapped into some ancient paranormal wizardry unleashing the power to turn imagination into reality.

Behold! This backyard shed is transformed into... The Magic Shed.

Now D&D, video games, heavy metal, cosplay, comics....all that's become fodder for the fantasy worlds and stupidly impossible surrealist adventures these man-boys invent as they deal with the inevitability of growing up. Across infinite floating castles and monster-filled trash heaps, one never knows if the colorful characters you encounter will be new pals, spiritual gurus, or evil jerks ready to run amok and/or tear a swath of destruction across this reality + beyond!

Hold on to your bully blinders, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

For Carl and Ricky, the past, present, and future all melt together like a cosmic grilled cheese for the imagination.

Here, there are no boundaries, no time nor space and the quest for eternal fun never stops!

 WHO WORKS ON THIS, ANYWAY?

ANDREW CARNWATH

CREATOR, WRITER, DIRECTOR, PRODUCER

Andrew is a Production Designer from Richmond, VA and has worked on features, television shows, commercials, and music videos for over 20 years. Early in his career, he directed an award winning short that screened in festivals around the world including New Zealand, Canada, & the United States. As a Production Designer, some of his recent clients include Audi, Walmart, Lenovo, Discover Card, Capitol One, Nabisco and Home Depot. In 2015, Andrew received an AICP - Best Production Design Award for an Oreo Mini Commercial.

STACY MURPHY

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Stacy is one of 3 Founders @ Tilt Creative + Production created in 2017. Before that she was President of Park Group/Juicy Films for more years than anyone can remember.

She has been in production basically her entire life, mainly because it’s the only thing she’s kinda good at.  Her connections in the production community both near and far keep her biggest clients, namely Audi, Walmart and Capital One, coming back year after year. That and the fact that she always uses really good caterers.  Stacy prides herself in working with the best, keeping a calm head, minding the budgets and weeding out the assholes.

ROBERT KELSHIAN

CREATOR, WRITER, PRODUCER

Rob graduated with an MA in film from American University with a focus on screenwriting. He works as a librarian and enjoys playing Dungeon! with his family. His backyard shed serves as an inspiration for the show, though its magic is not at the same level. Andrew and Rob have been working together on various music and film projects for almost 20 years and producing The Magic Shed has been one of their most rewarding efforts alongside working with everyone else who contributed to the effort.

SLY TUCKER

PRODUCER

Sly Tucker has been working in the production game for about 20 plus years. He has lived and worked all over this great country of ours, from Alaska to Virginia. He loves being a producer because it allows him to be creative and fix problems… mainly the ones he makes!

When not on set, you can find him skateboarding with his geriatric friends, yelling on his weekly podcast show or making waffles for his family! Sly is a father, husband, son, friend, and Senior Broadcast Producer for TILT Creative + Production.
